ADVENTURE is the name of the game for Cadbury Dairy Milk Freddo this summer.
The chocolate bar is giving away 2,000 adventures to families as part of its independent exclusive Win Big Adventures promotion.
Prizes include days out to attractions like Chessington World of Adventures, Go Ape and London Zoo.
Running until the end of September, consumers must simply buy a Freddo, Freddo Caramel, Dairy Milk Buttons, Chomp, Fudge or Curly Wurly and enter the barcode online at freddosbigadventure.com, for a chance to win.
To support the promotion and the brand, the Freddo character will be leaping off on an adventure of his own with his friend Toad, who has lost his hop.
Brand manager Dave McDermott said: “The national campaign aims to bring Freddo’s personality to life, helping families get to know his fun and adventurous character in a downloadable story – ideal for parents to read to their children to enjoy some quality time together, or to keep the kids busy while on the go.”
McDermott said the campaign is being supported by £2m investment, covering out of home advertising near independent stores, digital, and PR activity.
Dedicated POS is also on offer to retailers.
