ICE cream and snacks firm Mackie’s of Scotland has published a book of recipes to help raise funds to combat muscular dystrophy.

Marketing and design executive Nikki Nangle explained: “The project is dedicated in part to our friend and colleague, the late Denis Emslie, who contracted one of the lesser known forms of muscular dystrophy and who was himself committed to finding ways to help others with the condition.”

Copies of Cooking with Mackie’s are available in the firm’s 19.2 parlour in Aberdeen and from Mackie’s stands at exhibitions.
