WHEN it comes to vaping enthusiasts, convenience stores are often losing out to both online stores and specialist vape shops according to Imperial Tobacco, the firm behind e-cigarette brand Blu, but the firm reckons there are sitll plenty of opportunities for independent retailers.
Sophie Hogg, head of next generation products at Imperial Tobacco explained: “While online stores and vape shops appeal to more experienced vapers, there is still an excellent opportunity for the retailers to cater to new entrants to the category who may otherwise be intimidated by the sheer choice of devices and liquids on offer.”
To this end, Hogg suggested stocking a wide range that includes fresh, fruity and savoury flavours, as well as tobacco flavoured liquid.
