SCOTMID is backing a new project aimed at tackling homelessness in Edinburgh.
The society is providing funding support for social enterprise project Social Bite’s new village community hub project scheduled to open this month.
The village initiative aims to help residents by supporting them on their path back to work, while also adding fresh social housing for those in need.
Scotmid chief exec John Brodie (pictured) said: “This is an incredibly important initiative and, as soon as we were made aware of it, Scotmid was keen to help wherever possible.”
