DISCOUNTER Lidl has introduced a permanent free-from range and says, with prices from 79p, it is making the category affordable and accessible to all.
Featuring gluten-free products from Lidl’s own range as well as other popular brands including Warburtons and Nestle, the range includes gluten free porridge oats for £1.79, an assortment of luxury gluten free cookies at £1.29 and gluten free spaghetti for 99p.
Nairns gluten free wholegrain crackers feature on the list for £1.25, Nestle GoFree Cornflakes are £1.75 and Warburtons gluten free loaves are £1.49.
Head of food buying for the chain in the UK, Richard Inglis, said: “A recent report from Mintel found that 47% of free-from shoppers in the UK spend less on these products when budgets are tight but with Lidl’s permanent range, customers will now be able to carry on buying their favourite free-from foods whatever the budget.”
