Lactalis McLelland has been encouraging consumers to experiment with some Italian flavour this summer through two new initiatives.
The firm’s Galbani brand has been appearing on the small screen in a new TV ad which forms part of a new £2.5m marketing campaign. Lactalis McLelland has also expanded its Galbani range with the launch of a new Galbani Mozzarella Grill variant.
Mike Chatters, sales director for Lactalis McLelland, said: “Our research indicates that consumers love cooking with Italian cheeses, but that they are often confused by the choice of products on offer in the cheese aisle. The mass media campaign will heighten brand awareness and position Galbani as the go-to brand within the Italian cheese category.”
