A big focus backed by TV spend

CONFECTIONERY giant Ferrero plans to turn the spotlight onto its Raffaello brand this year, with the firm announcing it intends to place a “big focus” on the luxury almond and chocolate brand.


Ferrero has invested £2.85 million in Raffaello marketing activity which will see the brand promoted through TV commercials and video-on-demand as well as through a sampling programme.
The firm is targeting consumers looking for the “perfect gift” for a “girls night in” occasion.
Levi Boorer of Ferrero said Raffaello’s TV advert “was a huge success in Ireland, doubling the brand in that market”, and has been “designed to encourage trial, whilst connecting with a younger audience”.
