TWO juice brands aim to appeal to health-conscious shoppers with new products and range extensions in place in time for summer.
Sunmagic has added a smoothie range as well as coconut water and low-calorie, low-sugar products to its portfolio.
Its Cold-Pressed Smoothie range is available in Carrot & Mango and Beetroot & Berry flavours in 250ml bottles.
Brand director Razin Ali said: “The smoothies use a cutting-edge high-pressure processing technology which ensures high quality along with effective nutrient retention so that taste is maximised, extending the shelf life from seven to 45 days.”
Sunmagic’s Low Calorie and Low Sugar juice drinks are available in Tropical, Orange & Mango, Caribbean and Summer Fruits flavours; those drinks and its not-from-concentrate Coconut Water are available in 1-litre packs.
GB Drinks has launched a range of juices it says is inspired by a traditional Japanese fermentation process.
The Koji range is available in Relax, Refresh and Revitalise varieties.
All have coconut water as their base ingredient. Relax is a mix of cherry, vanilla and camomile, Refresh has an apple and mint flavour, and Revitalise combines lime, B vitamins and green coffee bean.
GB Drinks managing director Gary Barnshaw said: “The Koji way is the Japanese art of infusion, with each variety in the range made with botanical extracts.
“The combinations of crushed fruit, coconut water and botanical extracts developed by the team of master blenders are naturally hydrating.
“Koji is ideal for consumers who want to increase their sense of wellbeing.”
