BORDER Biscuits has added Dark Chocolate Gingers to its range of mini packs.
Each mini contains two individually wrapped biscuits and Border says the range is already selling more than 26m packs a year.
“The snacking market has grown significantly in the last few years due to people shopping on a budget and busier lifestyles creating a demand for consuming food on the go,” brand marketing manager Lesley Ann Gray said.
“Our mini packs meet this need perfectly. We hope that the addition of our bestselling variety will further boost sales which continue to go from strength to strength, reporting a 21% increase in volume and 20% increase in value.
“We have also introduced a larger 400g sharing pack, which is ideal for a number of occasions including canteens, staff rooms, special events and functions.”
The Borders Mini Pack range is available in boxes of 48 or 100 and includes Viennese Whirls, Divinely Choc Chip Cookies, Crunchy Oat Crumbles, Butterscotch Crunch and Choc Chip Shortbread.
