London gins look to Scotland

Gin-Lane-1751

A new gin, positioned as a benchmark London Dry and celebrating the Victorian gin-making era, is being made available across Scotland’s on and off-trade sectors. Gin Lane 1751 features four styles: a classic London Dry (40% ABV); London Dry Royal Strength (47% ABV); Victoria Pink Gin (40% ABV); and an Old Tom Gin (40% ABV).

• Highwayman Gin is a newly launched gin from the makers of Vestal Vodka.
Distilled using what is claimed to be the smallest commercial working copper pot still in London, the new gin is produced at a rate of 24 bottles a day. William Borrell, founder of Vestal Vodka, said: “We currently don’t retail in Scotland but would be keen to meet with any like-minded retailers or wholesalers.”
