ENERGY drink Rockstar has expanded its range with the launch of Rockstar freeze.

Saying that the energy drink category is now worth over £1bn and growing at 3% a year, brand owner AG Barr says seven out of the top 10  fastest-selling, big can energy drinks flavours are from Rockstar.

Head of marketing Adrian Troy said the range performed well in consumer research with 80% of shoppers saying they would buy it.

Available in Frozen Lime and Frozen Watermelon flavours, the launch of Freeze is being supported with a range of POS including standees, posters, shelf barkers and display units.
