For the grown-ups

NEW drink driving alcohol limits in Scotland along with government campaigns on healthy living and other influences could increase consumer interest in adult soft drinks.
And one of the most established mixer brands Schweppes has been busy developing its product range in a bid to attract more young adults.
Coca-Cola Enterprises’ new three-strong range of Schweppes Sparkling Juice Drinks are now available. The line-up includes Grapefruit & Blood Orange, Orange & Cranberry, and Lemon & Elderflower.
They’re available in 750ml bottles and 330ml cans with RRPs of £2 and 79p.

• Amanda Grabham, marketing director – soft drinks at SHS Drinks, whose portfolio includes Shloer, said: “Value sales of take home adult soft drink sales in Scotland grew by around 1% last year and we believe that there are a number of consumer trends working in favour of the ASD category which will significantly accelerate growth during 2015.”
Promotions will be running across the Shloer range in selected cash & carries and wholesalers during the summer months.
