Growing more than sales

YORKSHIRE Tea has teamed up with The Gruffalo and The Woodland Trust in a five-year pledge to plant one million trees in the UK and Kenya.


The brand owner says Yorkshire Tea is the first FMCG brand to form a promotional licensing agreement with the Gruffalo brand.

The campaign kicked off last month, and £500,000 is committed to the tree planting and supporting campaign activity.

Tom Blair, brand manager at Yorkshire Tea said: “With the help of The Woodland Trust’s schools network and the popular Gruffalo brand, we’re hoping to encourage the next generation to think about the importance of trees and demonstrate to their parents that Yorkshire Tea is the proper brew that makes a proper difference.”
