FROZEN potato producer McCain has expanded its portfolio with six new products.
Spicy Peri Peri Fries and Steakhouse Ridge Cut Fries are each available with an RRP of £2.50 for 750g.
American BBQ Wedges are £2 for 750g.
Mash Machines, at £1.50 for 454g, come in the shape of trains, planes, cars and boats.
The fifth product is microwavable frozen mashed potato which can be cooked straight from the freezer in three minutes. It has an RRP of £1.50 for 650g.
McCain is also launching what it says are new and improved McCain Croquettes at £1.50 for 550g.
Marketing director Mark Hodge said: “The new products take inspiration from out-of-home casual dining experiences and have big flavours.
“They will drive penetration and frequency with consumers who don’t traditionally shop the frozen food aisle,” he added.
