SYMBOL group Spar is trialling a new foodservice system, Daily Deli, complete with servery counter and could roll it out across the UK.
On trial at Spar Glenwell in Belfast, the Daily Deli range includes fresh salads, sandwiches and baguettes.
Debbie Robinson, Spar UK managing director, said: “Daily Deli is Spar’s answer to widening our presence in foodservice and giving our retailers more of an opportunity to offer foodservice in stores.”
