Previously retail director for Londis and Budgens, John will now concentrate on brand activities and product ranges available to Londis retail partners.
He said: “I am delighted to be fully focused on Londis and I have a fantastic team to work alongside me.”
Mike Baker has joined the company to become brand director for Budgens, which does not operate in Scotland.
