AN important UK tobacco market development in recent years has been the growth of capsule cigarette sales to take more than 5% of the total cigarette market, says Phillip Morris Limited.
The firm describes its own capsule cigarette brand Marlboro Ice Blast as the UK’s number-one “high cooling” capsule cigarette.
Unlike other capsule products Marlboro Ice Blast cigarettes have a cooling flavour from the start of the smoke. The taste can be intensified by crushing the capsule, for a more powerful burst of cooling flavour.
The growth of the capsule cigarette market segment shows no signs of slowing, says the firm.
