FREE-from’s move to the mainstream continues with Tesco’s launch of a gluten-free sandwich range in May.
Made by specialist supplier Genius, the fillings are cheese and ham, egg salad, houmous and chicken. Genius also makes 12 different gluten-free bakery products including this year’s innovation, lemon and chocolate cupcakes.

• Free-from lunchboxes can now also include a new brand of crisps. Ten Acre is a new premium range; all eight of its flavours are gluten-, dairy- and MSG-free as well as being vegan, halal and kosher.
Retailers can currently win up to £5,000 in a display competiton being run by the brand.
