AS coconut water joins the mainstream, fans are becoming more discerning, argues one provider. According to Foco, some brands are blending and mixing coconuts from various countries. That, it argues, compromises the quality and flavour.
Faizal Fulat of importer Chadha Oriental, said: “Foco 100% Pure Coconut Water is harvested from dedicated plantations of young green coconuts in South East Asia.
“Consumers are becoming aware of quality and our ongoing sampling events are clearly demonstrating a preference for Foco’s delicious, pure and superior taste.”
Flavours include Mango, Pomegranate, Pink Guava, Pineapple, and Lychee. First listings are Tesco and Tesco Express.
