Nibbles Quorn to run

Demand for lighter, healthier snacks led Quorn Foods to introduce Meat Free Indian Samosas and Meat Free Pork Pies in time for summer, the firm says.

The new products join a portfolio which includes Quorn Meat Free Cocktail Sausages (worth £3.5m according to IRI) and Quorn Meat Free Savoury Picnic Eggs, currently worth £2.9m (also according to IRI).
Julian Cooke, head of UK category management at Quorn Foods, said: “We are excited to be expanding our snacking range, which is going from strength to strength. We predict it will continue to do so as the summer goes on. In the last 12 weeks both our cocktail sausages and our picnic eggs have been ranked in the top five selling SKUs in the chilled meat-free category.”
