A village pharmacy in Mallaig on the ‘Road to the Isles’ is being marketed for sale by business agent Christie + Co.
The agent describes it as a well-established community business that’s the only pharmacy for nearly 43 miles and which dispenses almost 3,000 NHS items, with turnover approaching £500,000.
The pharmacy also supplies medical services to a number of sea vessels including the main Calmac ferry.
Christie + Co is seeking offers over £395,000 for the leasehold interest.
