SOFT drinks firm Britvic is inviting consumers to tea this summer.
But there won’t be a kettle in sight as the company is kicking off what it says is its biggest summer marketing campaign for Lipton Ice Tea.
The move comes after the Britvic Soft Drinks Review 2014 reported that “cold hot” drinks’, such as iced tea and coffee, had been among the fastest growing soft drinks last year.
The firm’s attempts to make the summer one long tea time will include the introduction of a new label, a summer print advertising campaign and a “gift with purchase” promotion giving shoppers the opportunity to get a free pair of sunglasses when they purchase a 500ml bottle.
