MÜLLER Wiseman Dairies has confirmed that its distribution depots at Keith and Whitburn are winding down and will close by the end of the year.
All the company’s milk will then be distributed from the firm’s depots in Aberdeen and Cambuslang, where more than 80 new jobs will be created.
Staff from Keith and Whitburn will be offered those new positions, plus help with travel costs.
Commenting on the plans, Carl Ravenhall, Müller Wiseman managing director said: “We have been unable to establish an economic basis for continuing to distribute milk from Keith or Whitburn.”
