Knorr rides the gravy train

UNILEVER-owned food brand, Knorr, has added an onion-flavoured line to its Gravy Pot range.

The product was the first jelly gravy to be introduced to the gravy market in the summer of last year, when Unilever argued it was one of the most innovative launches of recent years.
“The gravy market has grown 8.7% in value in the last year,” said Vanni Cataldi, brand manager for Knorr at Unilever UK. “Knorr is committed to fuelling this through continued investment into innovation and new product development.
“We know that consumer interest in alternative, convenient formats that offer robust homemade taste credentials remains strong.”
The Knorr onion flavoured gravy pot will be sold in four-packs with an RRP of £1.79.
