MILK brand Freshnlo has specially repackaged the product to coincide with the Pedal for Scotland series of bike rides, which take place this month.
For the past five years the Müller Wiseman brand has supported Scotland’s biggest mass participation bike ride, and this year Freshnlo’s 500ml cartons will display artwork and details about how to sign up.
The makeover coincides with Pedal for Scotland’s expansion beyond the central belt, with a new family ride set to take place in Aberdeen in mid-September. The route will follow a four-mile trail along the Aberdeen Esplanade on closed roads, and an event expo with a cycling skills course, stalls and family friendly activities will be set up on Beach Boulevard.
The Aberdeen course is in addition to the main Glasgow to Edinburgh ride, the 110m Sportiv ride and the Glasgow and Edinburgh family rides.
“We’re delighted to be supporting Scotland’s biggest bike ride again, now in its 15th year,” said Sandy Wilkie, Müller Wiseman sales and marketing director. “It’s hoped this fun special edition packaging – the first to bear our new logo – will not only create interest in the milk display for retailers, but encourage consumers to sign up for a fantastic event.”
