CADBURY’S frog-based children’s brand, Freddo, is ready to face the future
Freddo Faces, described by brand owner Mondelez International as a new fun product, will have packs that contain 10 individual froggy faces, each one made with Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate.
There are five different expressions – happy, in love, grumpy, confused and cheeky – although adults may have some difficulty deciding which one is which. It means, the company says, that there is “a Freddo Face for every occasion.”
The Freddo brand is already worth £19.3m in the UK according to Nielsen. According to the same source, it is the number one kids’ chocolate unit seller, growing at 14% year on year.
Freddo Faces come in a 35g pack, in an outer of 28. RRP is 52p.
There is also a launch promotion of two for 80p with Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons.
