SYMBOL group Londis is developing three programmes designed to help its retailers share best practice and ideas to grow their businesses.
The fascia organisation says it will “help retailers address the economic challenges of rising operating costs and the impact of consumer spending” through the creation of a structured network enabling peer-to-peer learning and the exchange of knowledge.
Cluster Families will encourage stores in the same region to communicate online and face-to-face. The group’s Mentor Scheme will match up experienced store owners with newcomers. And Londis Voice, an online retailer advisory panel, will see members give monthly feedback that will be used be used to shape future decisions.
Sales director Scott Wharton said: “We are providing a framework to offer an informal and social support network for our retailers, so that we can all work together for mutual benefit.”
