CASH management company Cashmaster International has expanded its range of count-by-weight products with the launch of Cashmaster One.
The firm says the new offering delivers a count-rate six times faster than manual counting alone, with three models available to suit different sizes of business – Cashmaster One Pro for sole traders, Cashmaster One Plus for small/medium enterprises and Cashmaster One Max for large organisations.
Cashmaster International says its products offer key benefits to businesses seeking efficiency, accuracy and interactivity.
“The entire Cashmaster range, which has now been expanded by the launch of Cashmaster One, is built on a central principle,” said Gordon McKie, CEO of Cashmaster International. “Businesses operate in highly competitive marketplaces where accuracy and efficiency really matter to the bottom line.
“Counting a till by weight can transform how you run your business. Using count-by-weight products allows organisations to count a till in less than a minute – reducing loss and shrinkage and allowing operators to spend more time focusing on customers.”
The new models feature touch screens with colour displays, can be wifi or Bluetooth enabled and share the same compact footprint, around 5% smaller than Cashmaster’s smallest product to date, making it easier to carry out till-reconciliations in small spaces.
• Costcutter Supermarkets Group has introduced what it calls the next generation in cash management technology with the SMARTtill Intelligent Cash Drawer.
Using the latest weighing technology, the tills count all notes and coins automatically within seconds of the cash drawer being closed and provide full reports for retailers on rolling floats values, change needed, top-up values, pick-up values and sales values, saving retailers up to 30 minutes per day per terminal.
Dave Morris, director of IT, Costcutter Supermarkets Group, said: “We demonstrated the SMARTtil Cash Management Solution at our conference last year and there was a real appetite for it from our retailers. The intelligent cash drawers give retailers another way to create efficiencies within their stores and the results from the trials have been very positive.”
