Keeping cats and dogs calm throughout firework season
WHILE fireworks season can bring consumers together to enjoy a light show in the sky, it can be a very different story for those with pets in the family.
Events such as Bonfire Night or New Year’s can be frightening for pets that don’t understand where the loud noises are coming from, causing a great deal of anxiety for them and keeping them barking well into the small hours of the morning.
Pet owners will then look to any and all solutions that they can find to help their four-legged friends through the night and Wag & Whisker is out to offer this through a more affordable offer to support pets.
The brand has rolled out a new pack of Calming Care Supplements for pets which offer to reduce stress for cats and dogs during events such as Bonfire Night. Each pack features 60 chewy bites at an RRP of £4.99 and provides pet owners with a solution to keep their pets calm during the night.
Pack also feature call-outs to help reassure owners including one that claims the chews are “Veterinary Formulated” to help reduce stress for animals and promote relaxation.
The Wag & Whisker Calming Care Supplements are available to stock now and can currently be found across B&M Home Stores as well as Home Bargains.
A spokesperson for Wag & Whisker said: “From sudden bangs and flashing lights to housebound routines and disrupted sleep, fireworks can leave even the most relaxed pets unsettled. Wag & Whisker’s calming supplements are formulated to help take the edge off those stressful moments.
“Whether it is a nervous dog pacing during bonfire night or a cat hiding under the bed, Wag & Whisker is designed to help owners keep tails wagging and whiskers relaxed, without breaking the bank.”
