Ambient food brand Princes has tapped into the demand for Asian flavours with its new range of Curries inspired by dishes from Thailand, Korea and Japan.

AMBIENT foods brand Princes has announced the launch of four new canned Asian-inspired curry packs to tap into the demand for modern, Asian cuisine.

The four-strong range aims to deliver flavours from across Asian cuisine including Thailand, Japanese and Korean foods across the new Thai Red Chicken Curry, Chicken Katsu Curry, Korean Sweet Chilli Chicken Curry and the Thai Green Chicken Curry.

Each pack features on-pack callouts highlighting the range’s high in protein nature as well as spice levels in every tin. Further to this, each can has no red traffic lights in its nutritional information, highlighting it as a healthier choice for shoppers to make.

The Thai Green Curry, Katsu Curry and Korean Sweet Chilli Curry are all available in Sainsbury’s locations now, with the Sweet Chilli variant also available from Iceland stores. The full range of four curries will also be in Tesco stores from 26 October.

Jeremy Gibson, marketing director at Princes Group, said: “We know consumers are increasingly seeking exciting, global flavours that are both convenient and tasty. Our brand new flavours will bring some of the nation’s favourite Asian-inspired dishes to the canned ready meal category, providing shoppers with affordable, quick meal solutions.

“As curry continues to perform strongly within the category, we’re confident these new additions will appeal to both existing Princes shoppers and those looking to explore new cuisines at an affordable price.”
