FAST-GROWING upmarket snacking brand Forest Feast has unveiled a new freeze-dried snacking range to tap into the growing consumer demand for texture-led products.

Combining whole, crisp, freeze-dried fruit with layers of Belgian chocolate, the ambient newcomers are described as delivering an indulgent contrast of crunch and creaminess, ideal for on-the-go snacking or sharing.

The trio consists of Double Chocolate Crispy Raspberries, Matcha Chocolate Crispy Strawberries and Double Chocolate Crispy Strawberries. With an RRP of £4.35 per 100g format, the range will roll out across a variety of retail outlets throughout the autumn and beyond.

Forest Feast says Double Chocolate Crispy Raspberries are whole, freeze-dried raspberries double dipped in Belgian white and dark chocolate, combining a sharp berry tang with deep cocoa richness.

The brand describes Matcha Chocolate Crispy Strawberries as whole, freeze-dried strawberries coated in velvety white chocolate blended with PerfectTed matcha, combining a crunchy berry bite with smooth, delicate matcha notes.

And Double Chocolate Crispy Strawberries are whole, freeze-dried strawberries double dipped in Belgian white and milk chocolate, said to deliver a crunchy centre followed by a smooth, velvety chocolate melt.

The launch will be supported by a heavyweight media and OOH campaign, in-store media, consumer PR, sampling and influencer activity.

Leona McCaugherty, head of marketing at Forest Feast, said: “Consumers are increasingly seeking snacks that offer something new, from bold flavour combinations to exciting textures, with social media accelerating discovery and trial. With 71% of UK consumers citing texture as a key driver of snack enjoyment, according to IN food, our new freeze-dried range offers a more dynamic and sensorial snacking experience, designed to elevate indulgent snacking.

“Forest Feast is growing ahead of the category at 58% year on year, Circana data shows, and this new launch demonstrates our commitment to driving category growth through innovation and continually delivering new and exciting snacking experiences for consumers.”
