Filippo Berio simplifies the range for consumers

ITALIAN foods brand Filippo Berio has refreshed its Balsamic Vinegar range to deliver an “easier-to-shop” solution for consumers.
The foods brand commissioned new research which found that people don’t often understand the difference between vinegars and are unfamiliar with what ones are best suited to which meals.
In response to this, Filippo Berio has unveiled a refreshed premium vinegar range that features new packaging with clear flavour guidance and suggestions on what to pair the vinegar with.
Each bottle features easy-to-understand flavour descriptors to help customers identify the right bottle with the front of packs offering serving suggestions to further aid in this. A sweetness to sharpness scale has also been added to the back of packs to allow consumers to find the right vinegar based on personal preference.
Alongside this new packaging, Filippo Berio has also expanded on its core range of options with its new mid-density Balsamic Vinegar of Modena to offer consumers a vinegar that has a more syrupy consistency that balances the acidic taste with a sweetness.
Additionally, the brand’s Fig, Classic and Truffle Glazes have also been given a fresh new look to help shoppers to better understand the flavours and how best to use them.
A spokesperson for Filippo Berio said: “The relaunch reflects Filippo Berio’s ambition to inspire more people to cook confidently with premium vinegars by making the category easier to understand and more enjoyable to explore.
“Whether creating a simple vinaigrette, glazing roasted vegetables or adding the finishing touch to a favourite dish, the refreshed range has been designed to help home cooks get more from every bottle.”
