Oreo shakes up the biscuits aisle with new packs

BISCUIT brand Oreo has expanded across its range with a tranche of new sharing pack formats as well as a new flavour to deliver more excitement for consumers.
First up is the new Oreo Double Creme Cookie Dough Flavour which takes the traditional Oreo biscuit and swaps out the filling for a new cookie dough flavour. Each biscuit features additional cocoa pieces through the creme to deliver an additional crunch for every bite.
This new variant also marks the first flavour expansion to feature the Double Creme in a single flavour, offering even more cookie dough flavouring per biscuit. The launch comes in a 157g pack with an RRP of £1.60.
Following this is the new Oreo Crunchy Bites Mini Snack Bags to match the demand for more on-the-go consumption opportunities for the brand. Each 110g pack features mini Oreo cookies inside allowing consumer more flexibility here. Each pack comes with an RRP of £1.25.

And building further on the sharing occasion, parent firm Mondelēz International has rolled out a massive Oreo Sharing Tray format which holds 36 biscuits in every pack. Ideal for larger social occasions, each pack features a re-closeable feature and takes inspiration from the sharing tray packs commonly found in America.
The 396g pack Oreo Sharing Tray comes with an RRP of £2.50 to offer shoppers a convenient and good-for-value option to share out during social occasions.
And finally, Oreo has brought a beloved seasonal variant into its core range with the introduction of a new two-pack format for the Oreo Enrobed White. Following its success as a seasonal offering during the Christmas period, Oreo Enrobed White offers a more indulgent twist on the classic Oreo with a smooth white chocolate flavour cream covering the biscuit.
Each 41g two-pack comes with an RRP of 65p offering a quick pick-me-up of indulgence to shoppers or an ideal addition to a cup of tea.
Sophia Burger, brand manager at MondelÄ“z International, said: “Oreo has always been about bringing playfulness and enjoyment to the biscuit aisle, and the latest additions to our portfolio, such as Oreo Cookie Dough Flavour, is a great example of how we are continuing to innovate with flavours that resonate with shoppers.
“We expect these launches to drive excitement for the brand and the wider category. Our new shareable formats also offer snacking options for a range of different occasions. Whether you are on the go looking for a quick snack, or at home with family or friends looking for an enjoyable treat, Oreo is there for every occasion.”
