Indulgent treat perfect for the movie night occasion, says Tony’s

ETHICAL chocolate maker Tony’s Chocolonely is rolling out a new Popcorn Crunch bar that it says combines favourite film snacks – chocolate and popcorn – in one chunky treat.
The brand says Popcorn Crunch, which has an RRP of £4 per 180g pack, is designed for cosy evenings in, sharing on the sofa or as a solo snack, or even in the cinema.
The new bar is described as being packed with roasted, caramelised popcorn pieces and covered in Tony’s Chocolonely’s creamy signature milk chocolate.
As with all the firm’s products, the cocoa is responsibly sourced, ensuring resilience for farmers who earn a living income and build long-term relationships and premium-quality beans.
A Tony’s Chocolonely spokesperson said: “As well as a nostalgic hit of moreish crunch and sweet, roasted corn notes that take you straight back to your favourite cinema, each bar features Tony’s signature unequally divided design. Made from 100% traceable cocoa beans, it’s a sweet indulgence that delivers on taste and does good with every bite – whether taken to the movies, or curling up with for a cosy night in.
“Responsibly sourcing cocoa isn’t just the right thing to do – it’s the smartest way to protect the future of chocolate. Better farming practices mean better cocoa beans, and better beans mean better tasting chocolate. Ethics and indulgence can go hand in hand.”
Initially being made available via Sainsbury’s and Asda supermarkets, as well as online at tonyschocolonely.com, Popcorn Crunch will then have a staggered wider presence through WHSmith, Oxfam and a variety of other outlets.
