Forecourt operator rolls in to Stirling with Jet
INDEPENDENT forecourt operator Karan Retail has introduced its first Jet locations into its network with one opening in the Stirling area.
Three new Jet forecourts have opened under the operator as the new Jet Menstrie Service Station in Stirling and Jet Childswell Service Station in West Yorkshire officially opened their doors on 30 June. Prior to this, Karan Retail had rebranded its Crowborough Service Station in East Sussex to Jet in May.
Karan, director of Karan Retail Ltd, said: “Jet provided support that was clear, consistent and straightforward during a period of uncertainty and instability. Jet helped us keep the business moving and gave us confidence in the next step.
“Bringing Crowborough across to Jet, with Childswell and Menstrie following, feels like a positive move for the business and one we’re pleased to be making.”
The move marks the nest stage in the independent operator’s relationship with Jet, according to parent firm Phillips 66 Limited which also noted that it now seeks to cement this partnership moving forward and ensure longer-term growth with the Jet brand for Karan Retail.
The Menstrie Service Station location was already operating under Jet before it became part of the Karan Retail portfolio. Now that the independent operator has control over the location, the Menstrie Service Station will receive a refresh in the coming months after the planned works currently underway on the site are completed.
