Heineken rolls out new Aussie promo for Foster’s

Lager brand Foster’s has unveiled a new on-pack promotion offering shoppers the chance to win a holiday to Australia to watch the darts.

DRINKS giant Heineken UK has launched a new on-pack promotion across its Foster’s lager brand as part of its ongoing partnership with the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC).

The new campaign is offering to give away a 7-day trip to Australia for four people along with tickets for all four to go see the 2027 Australian Darts Masters, along with some Foster’s branded merchandise.

Running from 31 July to 31 October, the promotion will run across all Foster’s lager and Foster’s Proper Shandy formats including price-marked packs in a bid to offer retailers a strong opportunity to drive sales in the off-trade and bring new drinkers to the brand in store.

To enter the competition, shoppers can simply purchase a promotional pack of Foster’s or Foster’s Proper Shandy and scan the QR, or enter via the Foster’s Good Call Darts Club website.

Foster’s became the official beer partner of the PDC in December 2024 marking a major step to revitalise the lager category, says Heineken. Alongside this, the brand also introduced its ‘bonza’ rebrand to celebrate the brand’s rich Australian heritage, while reinforcing its status in the category.

A range of creative touchpoints will be available to support the promotion across the off-trade along with a multi-million-pound above-the-line running for Foster’s live from mid-July until September focusing on Foster’s Aussie heritage and brand refresh.

Ciara Ryan, brand manager at Heineken UK, said: “Our ongoing partnership with the Professional Darts Championship (PDC) has helped us to further solidify Foster’s position in the Classic Lager category and create excitement amongst both retailers and consumers.

“By launching this competition, we are bringing Foster’s Aussie heritage to life on pack and giving shoppers a fun reason to pick up a promotional pack in store.”
