Thatchers brings a sweet touch to the low/no category
FAMILY cider maker Thatchers has brought its popular Blood Orange cider variant to the low/no category for the first time with its Blood Orange 0.0% cider.
Aiming to reinvigorate the alcohol-free cider category, the new Blood Orange 0.0% features a juicy cider that has been crafted using sweet dessert apples and blood orange flavour to deliver a vibrant new addition to the low/no category.
Made with the same care and attention that Thatchers prides itself on, the new 0.0% recipe has been crafted by the firm’s cidermakers to deliver a familiar depth of flavour and satisfaction its consumers come to expect from the original Thatchers Blood Orange Cider without the alcohol.
Thatchers Blood Orange 0.0% is available in both a 500ml glass bottle format as well as a four pack of 440ml cans to help match different shopper missions and improve stand out on shelf through its bright design.
The 500ml bottle comes with an RRP of £2 whilst the four pack has an RRP of £4 from Tesco and Booker, with plans to rollout to other retailers in the future.
The alcohol-free cider innovation will also be backed by a brand investment from Thatchers including TV and digital advertising, extensive sampling activity and in-store support to ensure the new variant is at the forefront of consumers’ minds as we head into the summer months.
