Barr Soft Drinks is helping to bring a Caribbean Twist to the offering this summer with the launch of its new limited edition KA Karnival Twist drinks.

BARR Soft Drinks is helping consumers to get into the carnival spirit this summer with the limited edition KA Karnival Twist drinks.

Aiming to build on more Caribbean-inspired flavours for the soft drink brand, the new Karnival Twist offers consumers a sparkling coconut and lime flavoured drink for the summer months.

Available from July in both a 500ml £1 PMP format as well as a larger two litre plain pack – which has an RRP of £1.80 – the new launch aims to tap into the growth the KA brand has been enjoying as of late, with Circana data finding it to be the number one selling Caribbean flavoured drink in the UK.

Jonathan Kemp, commercial director at Barr Soft Drinks, said: “Carnival season is a massive opportunity for soft drinks retailers with over two million people joining the celebrations, and sales of Afro Caribbean drinks more than doubling during carnival weeks, when over 5million drinks are served.
