GREENOCK-BASED sweets firm Golden Casket has expanded its range of Millions sweets in Aldi stores.

Five new products will be hitting the discounter’s shelves – namely the brand’s Iron Brew Squishies and Strawberry Squishies, Ice Triangles, Millions Chews, Cola Babies and Fizzy Cola Babies – across all 104 Scottish Aldi stores as Specialbuy items.

All of the products will be available in the stores for 99p per pack.

This latest move continues Golden Casket’s deal with Aldi, which first introduced its range of sweets to the discounter in 2011 and continues to show the mutual strength of the partnership, according to the confectioner.

Sandra Fisher, sales and marketing director at Golden Casket, said: “We’ve been working with Aldi Scotland since 2011, launching Millions in their stories in 2016, and the level of support and encouragement we’ve received from them over the years has been fantastic.

“In an industry that is fast changing through advancements in technology, we’ve always found the Aldi Scotland buying team to have the same ‘people first’ approach we value.

“To this day, they take the time and effort to visit our Greenock site, meet the team and actually taste the sweets! It’s a partnership we truly cherish.”
