NISA has announced a £6 million investment into the wholesale price of more than 1000 branded products as part of its bid to support its retailers.

It used market data to identify key products across the most important ambient categories to symbol and independent retailers within the convenience market – beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks and tobacco.

Nisa managing director Peter Batt, pictured, said: “Nisa retailers are at the heart of all our decisions.

“We’re pleased to be able to provide better wholesale prices in categories that drive high footfall for our retailers, allowing them to protect their margins at a time when most business costs are escalating.”

Meanwhile, more than £1 million was donated to good causes through Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally charity in 2022.

Nisa stores managed to collect a total 2142 donations throughout the year, resulting in £1,085,828 being given to local charities and community groups.

Nisa has also revealed its 2023 Expo show will take place on 17 and 18 October at the NAEC in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire.

Batt said: “The Expo will again provide the perfect opportunity for suppliers and customers to interact and share thoughts and ideas with new and existing contacts.”
