Camelot tops record £4bn National Lottery sales

CAMELOT has recorded its highest ever National Lottery sales for the first half of the financial year.

Breaking the £4 billion mark for the first time in the firm’s 28 years of operating the National Lottery, Camelot reported sales of £4,063.9 billion for the first six months of the 2022/23 financial year.

The record performance from Camelot also resulted in the best ever first-half returns to Good Causes, reaching a total of £956.5 million.

Camelot boss Hugh Robertson said: “I am delighted that the National Lottery is returning more to Good Causes than ever before.”
