Plant-based brand grows portfolio
VEGAN confectionery brand Doisy & Dam has joined the Nurture Brands range.
Ben Arbib, the founder of Nurture Brands, described Doisy & Dam as “a real disrupter”.
He went on to say: “It brings the excitement and formats from the dairy milk category into plant-based chocolate.
“Doisy & Dam will broaden Nurture Brands into the confectionery sector while also complementing our better-for-you and sustainability led proposition.”
The Doisy & Dam range consists of a variety of chocolate products packed in 25g and 30g impulse packs and bigger 75g and 80g sharing formats.
The range is certified vegan and 100% plant-based, made with ethically sourced cocoa and are 100% palm oil free.
Founder Richard Wilkinson said: “We look forward to seeing our brand grow under Nurture Brands and wish them every success for the future.”
Nurture Brands managing director Adam Draper added: “Doisy & Dam is our second acquisition in October, joining Indie Bay pretzels.
“We continue to seek disruptive snacking and beverage brands that are plant-based, better-for-you and sustainable.”
Indie Bay pretzels are made with spelt and natural ingredients.
Draper said they are low in calories and low in fat.
