EDINBURGH Gin reckons its new Discovery Pack will take consumers on a gin taste tour of Scotland’s capital city.

The new limited-edition Discovery Pack includes four of Edinburgh Gin’s London Drys, including Classic, Seaside, 1670 and Cannonball, bringing the four together in a specially designed gift pack for the first time.

Each pack includes four 200ml bottles of each of the gins for a set price of £45. The pack is available for purchase now from the Edinburgh Gin website.

Through the four gins, Edinburgh Gin reckons consumers will get a taste of its entire home-city. The gin distiller said Seaside reflects the capital’s seafaring history; 1670 takes its inspiration and ingredients straight from Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Gardens; the navy-strength Cannonball pays homage to Edinburgh’s famous one o’clock gun; with Classic said to capture the city itself as, “a distillation of the legendary city, with Edinburgh present in every sip”.

Three of the four gins have an ABV of 43%, with Cannonball at the higher percentage of 57.2%. All come packaged in boxes unique to the Discovery Pack, set which Edinburgh Gin reckons will generate interest as a collectors’ item for gin enthusiasts.

A spokesperson for Edinburgh Gin said: “There’s nowhere quite like Edinburgh – around every corner, something extraordinary is waiting.

“Inspired by its home city, Edinburgh Gin has curated a limited-edition Discovery Pack, bringing its four unique dry gins together to take you there; through Classic, Seaside, 1670 and Cannonball.”
