A NEW Electric Vehicle Hub is set to open at Great Western Retail Park in Glasgow.
Working in partnership with forecourt operator Motor Fuel Group, the EV Hub will feature eight 150kW Ultra-Rapid chargers, as well as an all-weather canopy, and is expected to open during quarter three of this year.
With its location on the A82, MFG said the new hub for the retail park will help to service one of the main routes going into the city centre.
This will add another EV charging site to MFG’s growing national network which includes over 500 sites.
William Bannister, chief executive officer at MFG, said: “We have already invested significantly and ahead of the curve on EV charging across our own forecourt network as part of our dual-fuel strategy to support the UK’s transition to electric motoring.
“We are working with leading real estate owners and managers to provide best-in-class destinations to meet the inevitable demand for easy access EV charging from the motorist in high traffic retail locations.”
