Snacking for charity

CHEESE snack Babybel is backing Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day campaign, through a new promotional pack.

The limited-edition Babybel packs were introduced on 18 February, with listings across all major supermarkets and in the convenience channel.

Babybel has pledged to donate 5p to the charity for every promotional pack sold.
The snack brand has also committed to a major marketing investment, which will include TV and video-on-demand advertising, as well as online activity.

This year’s Red Nose Day campaign is the latest partnership in a long relationship between the charity and the brand. Babybel has been supporting Comic Relief for 22 years.

Ollie Richmond, brand manager at Babybel, said: “At Babybel we’re calling the UK public to ‘Join The Goodness’ and become a hero by fundraising for Comic Relief.

“We’re extremely proud of our long-standing relationship, which has raised over £1.5m for this brilliant charity to date.”
