DOUGLAS Laing & Co has brought some festive cheer its Scallywag whisky brand, for the second year running.
The 53.1% ABV Scallywag Cask Strength Winter Limited Edition bottle is available from specialist spirits retailers and online, priced at £49.99.
The seasonal release has a limited run of only 4,200 bottles globally. The dram has been matured in a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximinéz Sherry casks without colouring or the use of chill-filtration.
Each bottle comes with a miniature woollen Santa-like hat which Douglas Laing reckons is a “fun addition” and makes it “the ultimate gift for the season of giving”.
