Nisa relaunches its Community Champions initiative

The returning initiative will recognise different stores each month

Nisa charity Making a Difference Locally has relaunched its Community Champions initiative, offering retailers the chance to support causes in their local area.

The initiative will recognise different stores each month with a £250 donation to be distributed to a local good cause via Making a Difference Locally.

Two winners will be awarded the Community Champion title each month, with awards for stores under 3,000 sq. ft and over 3,000 sq. ft.

To be in with a chance of winning, Nisa partners are invited to share how they have made a difference in their community with images of their charitable activities.

Kate Carroll, Nisa’s head of charity, said: “Nisa retailers have always been passionate about supporting their local communities and this has been evident more than ever during the last 18 months, as we’ve seen countless examples of partners going above and beyond for the communities they serve.

“We are delighted to relaunch our Community Champions initiative to celebrate the fantastic charitable efforts of our retailers and look forward to hearing more stories about the invaluable support they provide.”
