It’s EPOS systems go at MFG

BP Oakwood Gate service station

THE entire Motor Fuel Group (MFG) estate is now using evoPOS EPOS systems from TLM Technologies.

The rollout started in October 2019 and the first phase converted 473 sites with another 445 changed over in phase two.

Now the system has been installed at a total of 918 sites, with 1604 separate installations and 918 back office systems ungraded.

All of this was achieved with the average closure of a site being two hours.
Paresh Patel, IT director at MFG said: “We are delighted with the evoPOS rollout across our entire estate.

“It’s reliable with a modern user interface that needs minimal training.

“It has all the functions and features we need to deliver great customer service and allows us to easily control product ranging, pricing and promotions across our entire estate.”

TLM operations director, Bob Laidlaw, explained that the project had been hampered by external events, including stock being delayed by congestion at Felixstowe container port, new import restrictions and equipment being marooned on the Ever Given in the Suez Canal.

He added: “We are therefore extremely proud that we still delivered this project ahead of time”
