HUNTER Laing & Co has expanded its Scarabus Islay Single Malt range with the roll out of two new bottlings.
Scarabus 110 Year Old and Scarabus Batch strength are available now through the Ardnahoe Distillery.
The 46% ABV Scarabus 10 Year Old is priced at £45, while Scarabus Batch Strength, 57% ABV, is £49.
Scarabus 10 Year Old is described as offering “the distinguished Scarabus profile of sweet Islay peat smoke but with extra complexity,” while flavour notes for the Batch Strength edition describe a whisky with, “the signature sweet, peaty profile found in Scarabus, but with extra intensity, mouth feel and an even more lingering finish.”
Hunter Laing & Co managing director Stewart Laing commented on the launch: “Scarabus is a brand which we are incredibly proud of, and to see Scarabus grow and develop like this is really wonderful.”
