THE NFRN’s Shop Local, Shop Little campaign has received a boost after securing the support of top-selling lifestyle magazine publisher Bauer Media Group.
Bauer is backing the campaign across leading titles including Take a Break, Bella, That’s Life, and TV Choice.
The Shop Local, Shop Little campaign was created to encourage consumers to shop locally and sensibly during the coronavirus pandemic.
Adverts for the campaign have previously gained national newspaper coverage, appearing across titles including the Daily Mail, Daily Mirror, Daily Telegraph and Daily Express.
Stuart Reddish, national president of the NFRN said: “We are delighted that thousands of readers will be encouraged to shop locally.
“These unprecedented times have proven how essential and convenient independent stores are.
“Store owners and employees are continuing to risk their lives so that the members of their communities can get their essentials, and it is so important that they get the recognition and support that they deserve.”
